Specialized Committees

Depend onRuwad Association for Community Initiatives and Eventstwo main committees that operate under the supervision of the Board of Directors, aiming to enhance the efficiency of institutional work and link governance to the daily implementation of programs and events.

These committees contribute to planning and development on one hand, and to reviewing and approving programs and projects on the other, ensuring that every event or initiative is launched from a clear vision and managed according to an organized methodology.

First: Planning and Development Committee

An advisory and organizational committee concerned with strategic planning and institutional development within the association, working to ensure that the association's work aligns with its vision and mission, and with the needs of Medina in the exhibitions, conferences, and community events sector.

Main tasks of the Planning and Development Committee:

  • Contributing to the preparation and updating ofthe strategic planfor the association and following up on its implementation.

  • Studying the reality of the events sector in Medina and proposing work priorities and strategic axes.

  • Reviewing organizational structures and internal procedures and proposing necessary improvements to develop and enhance their efficiency.

  • MonitoringKey performance indicatorsfor the association (programs, events, training, volunteering…) and submitting periodic reports to the Board of Directors.

  • Proposing new developmental initiatives that contribute to improving service quality and enhancing the impact of the events and initiatives carried out by the association.

  • Supporting the executive management in adopting best practices in planning, project management, and impact measurement.

Second: Programs and Projects Committee

A specialized committee for studying and approving the programs, projects, and events implemented by the association, ensuring their alignment with the association's mission and goals, and their ability to achieve a clear community and professional impact in the events industry.

Main tasks of the Programs and Projects Committee:

  • Receiving and studying proposals for programs, initiatives, and events from the executive management or partners.

  • Reviewing the objectives of each program or project, the target audience, the implementation method, and the proposed measurement indicators.

  • Ensuring that the programs align withthe association's area of expertisein exhibitions, conferences, and community events, and with the needs of Medina.

  • Proposing necessary amendments to the program designs before approval, to ensure their feasibility and clarity of impact.

  • Following up on the final reports of events and projects, studying the results and lessons learned, and linking them to the association's future plans.

  • Contributing to buildinga balanced portfolio of programsincluding: events, community initiatives, training, studies, and partnerships.
